Can I cancel a swap?
No. A confirmed swap is instant and final — there is no cancel button and support cannot reverse one. Both balances change the moment you confirm, so there is never a window in which the trade is “in progress” and could be stopped.
What you can back out of is the quote, before you confirm it.
Before you confirm: the quote
When you enter an amount, the app fetches a quoted rate and holds it for a few seconds. During that window:
- Tapping Cancel on the confirm screen simply drops the quote. Nothing is charged and nothing moves.
- Closing the screen or walking away does the same. An unconfirmed quote never touches your balance.
- If the countdown runs out, the app fetches a fresh quote by itself. If it can’t, the screen shows “The price expired — refresh to continue” and you tap Refresh price.
A quote that has lapsed cannot be executed at the old price — the server checks the clock, so a stale quote is simply refused with “The price expired — get a fresh rate.” This protects you as much as the app: you never fill at a price neither side is looking at.
After you confirm
The swap settles as one atomic move: the asset you sold leaves your balance and the asset you bought arrives, in the same instant. It appears in Activity as a completed swap showing both sides and the effective rate.
Confirming twice does not swap twice — a repeat confirmation of the same quote returns the same result rather than executing again.
If you swapped the wrong way
The only remedy is to swap back — a second, separate swap at the current rate. That means paying the spread twice and accepting whatever the market has done in between, so it will usually cost you something. Check the pair and the amounts before confirming rather than relying on a reversal.
