Cancel or manage your subscription

2 min readUpdated Aug 7, 2026

To cancel, turn auto-renew off. You keep access until the period you’ve already paid for runs out, and you’re never charged again. There’s no separate “cancel” that ends access early.

Everything is under More → Subscriptions, where each subscription shows its state and the days left.

Cancelling

  1. Open More → Subscriptions.
  2. Find the channel and tap Cancel.
  3. The row switches to Expiring and shows when access ends.

Changed your mind? Tap Resume any time before it expires and auto-renew goes back on — no new charge, the period you paid for just continues renewing.

How renewal works

At the end of each period the app charges the plan price from your balance automatically. You get a message for every successful renewal.

About a day before a renewal, the bot warns you if your balance won’t cover it — top up and nothing else is needed.

When a renewal fails

If your balance is short at renewal time, the subscription moves to Renewal failed but you don’t lose access straight away:

  • The app keeps retrying for a grace window.
  • Top up your wallet and tap Retry payment to settle it immediately.
  • If the grace window runs out unpaid, the subscription expires and the bot removes you from the channel.

After it expires

You’re removed from the chat and the row reads Expired. Nothing is left running and nothing more is charged.

To come back, open the owner’s subscribe link again and subscribe as normal — being removed doesn’t block you from re-joining later.

Other things worth knowing

  • Prices don’t change under you. A subscription bills at the price and period it was created with, even if the owner later edits the plan.
  • If the owner archives the channel, renewals stop — you won’t be charged again, and you keep your access.
  • If the bot loses admin rights in the channel, subscriptions there are paused until the owner restores them.
  • Charges come out of your in-app balance; the subscription screen shows your current period and the next renewal date.

⚠️ Cancelling doesn’t refund the current period

Turning off auto-renew stops future charges only. The period you’ve already paid for is not refunded, so cancel when you’re done with the channel rather than expecting money back.
