What is a giveaway?
A giveaway is a prize draw you run from your wallet. You set a prize, a number of winners and a deadline, the app locks the money, and when the deadline hits it picks the winners at random and pays them automatically.
It’s the tool for rewarding a channel audience: you post one link, people tap Participate, and you never have to pick or pay anyone by hand.
How it works
- You create the giveaway and it locks prize × number of winners from your balance.
- You share the link — usually as a post in your channel.
- People open it and enter. You can require them to join one or more channels first.
- At the deadline the draw runs by itself. Each winner is credited one prize straight to their wallet and gets a notification.
There is no platform fee. Every unit you lock goes to the winners.
Finding giveaways in the app
Open More → Giveaways. The screen has two tabs:
- Participate — the giveaways you’ve entered, with their status and result.
- Created — the ones you’re running, with participant counts and a manage screen for each.
What you can set
- The asset and the prize per winner (or a total pool the app splits for you).
- The number of winners — from 1 to 100.
- Channels to join to enter — up to five.
- The duration — 1 hour, 24 hours or 7 days.
- Whether the winners list is published after the draw.
- Whether entry is limited to people who haven’t entered your previous giveaways.
⚠️ A published giveaway is final
Once you launch it, a giveaway can’t be cancelled or edited. The prize stays locked until the draw. The only automatic exit is running short of eligible participants — then the whole hold comes back to you. See How winners are picked and paid.
