How to join a giveaway

Open the giveaway link and tap Participate. That’s the whole entry — there’s nothing to pay and nothing to claim later. If you win, the prize is credited to your wallet on its own.

Steps

1. Open the link. Giveaways are posted in channels; tapping the post’s button brings you to the giveaway screen in the app.
2. Check the requirements. If the host requires channel membership, each channel is listed with a Join button. Join them, then come back.
3. Tap Participate. Your entry is registered immediately and the screen flips to You’re in!.
4. Wait for the draw. It runs automatically at the deadline shown on the screen.

The rules for entering

• One entry per person. There’s no way to enter twice and no benefit to trying.
• You can’t enter your own giveaway.
• Some giveaways are for new participants only. If the host turned that on, anyone who entered one of their earlier giveaways is excluded — the screen says so under Eligibility.
• One entry per device. If two accounts share a device, only the first one can enter a given giveaway.
• Stay in the required channels. Winners are re-checked against the channel list at draw time, so joining to enter and leaving straight after can lose you the prize.

More → Giveaways → Participate lists everything you’ve entered, with the time left, the prize and — once it’s over — whether you won.

After the draw

If you won, the prize lands in your balance automatically and you get a message from the bot. Nothing to accept, no address to give.

If you didn’t, the screen shows Not this time. If the host chose to publish them, the winners are listed there too.

A giveaway can also end as cancelled: that happens when there weren’t enough eligible participants for the number of winners promised. Nobody is paid and the host gets their money back — see How winners are picked and paid.

⚠️ Nobody will ask you for anything

Entering is free and takes one tap. If a “giveaway” asks you to send crypto first, pay a fee to release a prize, or hand over a seed phrase or PIN, it’s a scam — real giveaways in the app never do any of that.
