How to delete a check and get a refund

You can delete a check you created at any time. The unclaimed remainder is refunded to your balance right away.

Steps

1. Open Checks and find the check you made.
2. Tap Delete.
3. The locked funds that haven’t been claimed yet return to your balance.

What you get back

A check holds amount × remaining activations. Deleting it refunds exactly that remainder — whatever hasn’t been claimed.

Activations that were already claimed are not clawed back. Once someone claims a check, those funds are theirs, and deleting the check can’t reverse it.

When to delete

• You forgot the password and can’t claim it yourself — delete it and make a new one.
• The giveaway is over and you want the unused funds back.
• You created a check by mistake, or with the wrong amount.

Good to know

• Only the creator can delete a check.
• A check that’s already fully claimed has nothing to refund — there’s no remainder left.
