How to take your money out of Earn
You can take money out of Earn at any time, in any amount you hold, with no fee and no lock-up. Most withdrawals are instant; large ones can take a few hours, up to about a day.
Steps
- Open Earn and tap Withdraw (it sits next to Add funds).
- Pick the asset with the chips at the top of the panel.
- Enter the amount, or tap Max for everything available.
- Tap Withdraw. The app tells you straight away whether it went through instantly or is being processed.
Instant vs. processing
The money you have in Earn is put to work at staking venues. We keep part of it liquid, and a withdrawal that fits inside that liquid part settles instantly — it’s back in your wallet before you close the panel.
A withdrawal larger than what’s currently liquid is queued instead. Its status shows Processing, an unstake is started, and it completes automatically as soon as the funds return — usually within hours, up to about a day. You get a message when it lands. You don’t need to do anything, and you don’t need to re-submit.
Availability
Withdrawing from Earn is never switched off. Even if new deposits into Earn are paused, or your account is restricted for a compliance review, your own money still comes back to you.
Two things bound the amount:
- You can only withdraw what you actually hold in that position.
- Anything already queued in a Processing withdrawal is spoken for and can’t be withdrawn twice.
Interest and partial withdrawals
Taking money out mid-hour forfeits that hour’s interest on the part you removed — see How interest accrues. Whatever stays in the position keeps earning uninterrupted, and interest already paid out is yours regardless.
If you withdraw everything, any interest that had already accrued for finished hours is still paid out on the normal daily schedule.
