Customizing the menu and quick actions

2 min readUpdated Aug 7, 2026

Open More → Customize menu to decide which features sit on the home screen, which get a tab in the bottom bar, and which live in “More”. Every change saves straight away — there’s no Save button.

The three zones

  • Quick actions · 2–4 — the tiles under your balance on the home screen.
  • Bottom bar · 1–3 — the middle slots of the bar. Wallet and More are fixed and shown greyed out; you’re only arranging what’s between them.
  • In “More” — the pool. Everything you don’t place stays reachable here.

Each feature lives in exactly one zone. The mockup at the top of the screen is a live preview of your home screen and bottom bar, so you can see the result before you leave.

Moving things around

  • Drag a tile onto another tile to swap the two.
  • Or tap one tile, then tap its destination — same result, easier with one hand.
  • A zone below its maximum shows a dashed + Add cell. Drop a tile there to move it in.
  • While you’re holding or have selected a placed tile, the pool grows a dashed − Remove here cell. Drop the tile there to push it back into “More”.
  • Trying to go below a zone’s minimum (2 quick actions, 1 bottom-bar tab) is blocked with a short message. Move something in first, then out.

Reset to defaults at the bottom restores the original layout.

Good to know

  • The layout is stored with your account, so it follows you to another device and survives reinstalling Telegram.
  • The screen only lists features that are actually switched on for you. If something isn’t there, it isn’t available yet — not hidden.
  • Moving a feature doesn’t disable it. Push Withdraw into the pool and you can still withdraw: wallet actions you move out get their own row under More → Services, and every other feature keeps its row there too.
  • Layout is cosmetic. It never changes limits, fees, balances or who can send you money.
