Can I delete my account?

2 min readUpdated Aug 7, 2026

Not by yourself. There is no “delete account” or “close account” button in the app, and blocking the bot doesn’t delete anything — it only stops the messages. If you want to stop using the wallet, empty it and walk away; if you need your data handled, that goes through support.

Do this first: empty the wallet

Deleting nothing is fine, leaving money behind is not.

  1. Withdraw every asset to an external wallet you control, or send it to another Telegram user.
  2. Check every asset, not just the big one. Dust in a second asset is still your money.
  3. Close anything still holding funds — active checks, an Earn position, a running giveaway — before you stop looking at the app.

What you can turn off yourself

Under More → Security:

  • Remove your PIN (you’ll need the current one).
  • Remove Face ID from the device.

Under More → Settings, switch off Telegram notifications. Security alerts still arrive — a change to your PIN, email or Face ID always notifies you, so a hijack can’t be silent.

Your backup email can be changed but not removed. Saved withdrawal addresses can be removed one by one from the allow-list.

What you can’t do yourself

  • Erase your transaction history. It’s the record behind money that actually moved.
  • Delete or edit verified identity details (name, date of birth, country) if you completed verification. The Profile screen marks these as locked and points you to support.

Asking support

Write to support from inside the app (More → Support) and say exactly what you want — the account closed, your data handled, or both. Requests are reviewed individually, and some records tied to completed transactions and to compliance obligations are retained regardless. Support will tell you what applies to your case rather than promising a blanket erase.
