Requesting money from someone
You can create your own payment request: a link that anyone can open and pay straight into your wallet. Open More → Invoices (or add Invoices to your menu) and create one. The screen sums it up: “Create a payment link, share it anywhere, get paid straight to your wallet.”
It’s the mirror image of a check — a check hands money out, a request pulls money in.
Creating a request
- Open Invoices and start a new one.
- Pick the asset — or price the request in a fiat currency and let the payer pay in crypto at the rate of the day.
- Set the amount, or turn on Open amount so the payer chooses how much (you can still set a Minimum amount).
- Add a Description — it’s shown to the payer before they pay.
- Tap Create invoice. The link is copied for you.
Share the link anywhere, or use Send to chat to post it into a Telegram chat as a card with a Pay button. The list also gives you a QR code to show someone in person.
Options worth knowing
- How many times it can be paid — Once, a fixed number, or Unlimited (“anyone with the link can pay, any number of times”).
- Payment deadline — after it passes the request expires and can’t be paid. 24 hours before, a reminder goes to you and to everyone who has paid this request before.
- Scheduled send — the request sits as Scheduled and goes live at the date and time you set.
- Hidden message and paywalled photos/videos — revealed to the payer only after they pay. The description stays public.
- Issue automatically — reissue the same request daily, weekly, monthly or twice a month; previous payers get each new one in their chat.
- Notification channels — post a notice to your channels or groups on every payment, alongside your own Telegram alert.
Getting paid
When someone pays, the money lands in your balance immediately — it’s an internal transfer, so no network fee and no waiting. You get a Telegram message naming the payer and the amount, and the payment appears in your Activity as Request paid.
Payers may choose to pay anonymously, in which case you see the payment but not who made it. Your invoice screen keeps a receipt list of everything paid.
