How to pay an invoice
You pay an invoice from your wallet balance. It usually reaches you as a link — from a shop, a bot, or an app you’re buying from. Opening it takes you straight to the Pay Invoice screen.
Steps
- Open the invoice link. It opens the Pay screen inside the app.
- Review the details — the asset, the amount, and who is requesting payment.
- Confirm to pay from your balance.
- Done. The merchant is notified automatically and fulfills your order.
What happens after you confirm
The funds move from your balance to the merchant’s instantly — no network fee, no waiting. Behind the scenes the merchant receives an automatic, signed notification that the invoice was paid, so they can release your order without you doing anything more.
⚠️ Payment is instant and final
You can’t take an invoice payment back once you confirm — only the merchant can refund it from their side, at their discretion. Before you tap confirm:
- Check the amount — you’re paying exactly what’s shown.
- Check who’s requesting it — make sure it’s the merchant you expect.
- Only pay invoices you actually expect. If a payment request arrives out of nowhere, don’t pay it.
If you can’t pay
- Not enough balance — you need to hold at least the invoice amount in that asset. Top up with a deposit or a swap first, then try again.
- The invoice expired — some invoices have a time limit. If it’s lapsed, ask the merchant for a new one.
