How to withdraw crypto to an external address
A withdrawal moves crypto out of the app to an external on-chain address — your own cold wallet, another wallet, or an exchange. Unlike a send (which is instant and free to a Telegram user), a withdrawal goes on the blockchain, pays a network fee, and waits for the network to confirm it.
Steps
- Open the app and tap Withdraw.
- Choose the asset (e.g. USDT).
- Choose the network — it must match the destination wallet or exchange (e.g. TON, TRC20, ERC20, BEP20).
- Paste the destination address. Prefer copy-paste or a QR scan over typing.
- Enter the amount. The screen shows the network fee and the minimum for that asset/network.
- Confirm.
Once confirmed, the amount is broadcast on-chain and you wait for network confirmation. When the network confirms, the funds land at the destination.
What happens to your balance
When you request the withdrawal, the amount plus the network fee is held from your balance. On confirmation, the amount goes on-chain and the fee is taken. If the withdrawal fails or is rejected, the full amount and the fee return to your balance — see withdrawal statuses.
First time to this address?
A withdrawal to an address you haven’t successfully withdrawn to before needs an extra confirmation with your account PIN or Face ID. After that, the address is trusted for future withdrawals. See new-address confirmation.
Good to know
- The network fee and the minimum withdrawal differ by asset and network, and are shown on the Withdraw screen — see withdrawal fees.
- A per-transaction cap and a daily cap apply per asset; both are shown in-app — see withdrawal limits.
- Withdrawing to an exchange over TON? The exchange’s deposit memo is required — paste it into the Memo field or the exchange won’t credit the funds. Read networks & memo first.
